Working from her West Dorset studio near
Netherbury, Nicola Leader paints a range of subjects in oils and
watercolours, particularly countryside and farmyard scenes. Her work
also includes still-lifes and private commission work. Much of her
work is available in greetings card and postcard
form.

As well as paintings, she also produces decorated flowerpots,
mirrors, wastepaper bins and trays. The studio and gallery overlook her lovely
parterre garden, as well as the chickens, animals and flowers that feature
in many of her paintings.
Her studio, with a
range of work on show and for sale is frequently open to the public, and
may be viewed by appointment (see below for contact information). Access is
by a short staircase.

From the
B3066 between Beaminster and Bridport, turn off to Netherbury. In the centre of
the village, turn left at the crossroads onto the back road to Bridport:
Waytown is 1 mile out of Netherbury, and Netherley House is 200 yards after the
Hare and Hounds Pub, on the right.
